Greetings Gorgeous,
This is a blog that goes to your inbox. I’m a working sommelier who likes to write about beauty in the world so, I created this blog to synthesize my 12+ years of professionally cross-pollinating through academia, wellness, comms, and hospitality.
Venus of the Mind has three sections: an eponymous blog series that’s all about living in devotion to beauty; a blog series titled Venus of the VINE that’s dedicated to wine; and a podcast featuring interviews with conscious creatives who work to leave the world more beautiful than they found it.
My interdisciplinary academic background in Caribbean and Mediterranean studies, along with my delight in speaking Spanish (my heritage language) and Italian (a language that I started learning for love) often flow into my writing.
